Sidharth's Starry Behaviour Leaves Karisma Fuming
Sidharth Malhotra's detractors often say that he needs to brush up on his acting. But before he enrols in an acting school, we suggest he take a few lessons in manners. We'll tell you why.

The actor, along with Karisma Kapoor, was the guest of honour at an event (to celebrate World Diabetes Day) held in the city yesterday. Even before the lights came on at the event, Mr. Busybee told the organisers that he has to rush elsewhere and hence, needs to wrap this up at the earliest. 'Let me give my speech and get going', was Sid's not-so-humble request.

This, when the original plan was to have Karisma deliver her speech on the subject first. The actress, we hear, was all set to go on the stage when she was informed that Sid will be going up first.

Imagine her shock when she heard about the change in plans! How else do you expect her to react? After all, Karisma has been in the industry for over 20 years and she wouldn't expect to be sidelined for a young actor who has just completed 3 years in Bollywood.

So once the event began, the emcee asked the Student Of The Year actor to speak up on the subject.

But you know Bollywood actors - they'll always be at their graceful best in front of the cameras. He motioned to the host that Karisma should speak up first! The emcee, stunned by Sid's sudden turnaround, bluntly said, "But you're getting late." (Watch video above)

Sidharth then happily went ahead and spoke on diabetes while a fuming Karisma was left sitting on the side, twiddling her thumbs.

What next? Speech done, smiling for the cameras done and Sid dashed out of the venue before Karisma could even take to the mic to say her two-bit.

Well, Sidharth has always gone on and on about how his mentor Karan Johar has taught him so much. Maybe it's time he learnt social etiquette from the always gracious KJo.
